Forest Bathing
Shinrin-Yoku

Forest Bathing is a Japanese practice of mindful immersion in nature utilzing all of the senses to improve physical and mental health.

Forest Bathing is not just another walk in nature. Together, we engage our parasympathetic nervous system by slowing down, being present and mindful as we move through the forest. Our aim is to truly connect and listen to our bodies, feel our senses, and grow our bond with the earth in an introspective experience. You will be invited into moments of reflection and rest throughout our time together in nature. We encourage you to bring a journal, your favorite writing utensil(s), and water while wearing weather appropriate clothing and comfortable shoes. See you in the forest!

"I’m excited and grateful to share sound with you. These gatherings are an opportunity to slow down, receive, and create intentional space for yourself. Sound baths offer a calming and supportive environment for the nervous system to settle into rest and recovery, often leaving participants feeling grounded and deeply relaxed. Guests are welcome to lie flat or find any comfortable resting position during the experience. Please bring a yoga mat, and feel free to bring a blanket, eye mask, pillow, or any supportive items to help you feel cozy and at ease. I look forward to sharing this space with you."

The Collage began in early 2025 with two gatherings and a whole lot of imagination—and we’ve been growing ever since.

We registered as an LLC with the state of Georgia on July 4, 2025, in response to legislation that proved how urgently spaces like this are needed.

We’re proud to be in partnership with 1001 New Worshiping Communities (an initiative of the PCUSA)
